Connect your domain and SSL
Point a domain you own at your site and get its certificate issued.
Add the domain
Open your site’s Domains & SSL page (also reachable from Hosting controls) and enter a domain you already own. The page shows the DNS records to add where you manage the domain: either our nameservers, or an A record with an IP address in your current DNS settings. Use one method, not both. Before switching nameservers, save any existing records you still need.
Check that DNS is pointing here
DNS changes take time to spread. After updating your records, return to the domain and select Check again. The page shows the last check time and what still needs doing. Keep the domain’s other records — like the ones your email provider uses — intact while you change the website records.
Wait for the SSL certificate
Once the records check out, the certificate is issued automatically — there’s nothing to buy or upload. The domain’s status moves to secure when HTTPS is active. If the status stays on certificate issuing or shows renewal attention, allow a little time, then contact support if it doesn’t clear.
Know the limits
Your main domain counts toward your plan’s domain limit. Adding another address opens the same website — it doesn’t register a domain or create a second site. To remove an address, select Detach; visitors using it will no longer reach your site. Detaching never cancels the domain’s registration with your registrar.
